Sinus Lift

A sinus lift, also known as sinus augmentation, is a procedure that helps to increase the amount of bone in the upper jaw, specifically in the area of your back teeth (molars and premolars). This procedure is often needed when there isn’t enough bone to support dental implants, which can happen if the bone has deteriorated due to tooth loss or other factors.

The maxillary sinuses are air-filled spaces located above the upper jaw. When there’s not enough bone between the jaw and the sinus, placing an implant can be challenging. To solve this, a sinus lift adds bone beneath the sinus by gently raising the sinus membrane upward.

Over several months, this grafted bone integrates with your natural bone, creating a solid foundation for future implants.
